It's rather simple -- he wasn't elected. He was installed.

Well, will he be gone? Cause the 2 changes in Supreme Court, and everything else he has done are deciding USA policies for the next few years! So, even if he is gone, he has left a great legacy to USA and rest of the world...

Assuming Kerry had been elected Mike, his power would have been hobbled by a Republican majority in Congress. Not even a trained pig could have been so reckless in his reckless fiscal policy as George W. Bush that drove the deficit to record levels with tax cuts that were inefficient in providing economic stimulus and were tilted toward the wealthy despite all the drains on the treasury from the war in Iraq. Thanks to G.W., the deficit has dragged down our national savings rate, leaving the country dependent upon foreigners for capital. And by the way, Mike, I'd be willing to make a wager with you that the next President will NOT be a Republican.

The tax cuts worked as is evidenced by the short lived Clinton/Gore/911 recession followed by the rapid decrease in the deficit it caused.

BTW, if you are so concerned about fiscal policies, why no complaints about the bribes (aka earmarks) the democrats spread around to get a bill they know won't ever become law passed? All those tax payer dollars spent just to pass a bill that won't even make it through the senate. Talk about a waste.

I recall a quote from Oliver Stone's movie 'Nixon' :

Nixon shuffles back alone, coming to a stop in front of a larger-than-life, full-length oil portrait of JOHN F.
KENNEDY. Nixon studies the portrait, pads closer. Looks up.

NIXON (CONT'D)
When they look at you, they see what
they want to be.
(then)
When they look at me, they see what
they are ...

Talking about earmarks is a way to look serious about corruption without looking too serious It's also a good way to avoid the subject of federal contracting policies, which would raise uncomfortable questions for the right. Conservatives generally applaud the trend to outsource public functions to private firms in the name of market efficiency, but the reality of contracting has more to do with profits for war-profiteering and politically connected companies than with saving the "taxpayer dollars." More broadly, the Republicans have institutionalized a habit of outsourcing all policymaking to corporate interest. Corporate lobbyists are involved in the drafting of legislation. If you d...

I love it! The internet, I truly believes, is a breeding ground for ignorance and thought death.

Better than Bush, every President since Hoover (including , gasp! Nixon), Best president, not Bill Clinton, at best mediocre, but considering the last 6 years, Bush makes him look like an Olympian god!

If your sorry about our president, your SORRY - period.
The only thing Nixon did wrong was get caught. War-profiteering goes to the Bankers and has for centuries. As far as the Bankers care, tax payers are nothing but slaves. You can find this info if you just look.
I suggest infowars.com. The trick is to maintain an open mind so that your research will continue to generate questions and not blame. The bottom line is that Money Does Make the World Go Around - look to the Bankers.
