The clip from the New York Times reports someone at a Palin rally urging killing Barrack Obama, others calling Obama a 'traitor," -- Palin associating him with domestic terrorist...and an Afro-American TV reporter being hassled by the crowd.

If we let these Republicans win again these are the types of people we'd be continuing to let rule and mislead our country.

I urge their defeat not just in the elections next month, but the elections after that and the election after that until their party is driven into extinction.

This will not only help our country but "send the message," that you shouldn't mislead and lie a nation into war, you can't commit war crimes, you can't shred the Constitution, you can't destroy our economy and give away money to the banks while people life savings are stolen.

KKK America in power again?

Not on my watch. Not while I still have breath.

And I hope, sincerely hope, you feel the same.

Vote Obama. Defeat Republicans.

It's been horrifying to watch these Palin rallies.

I heard a news report that the secret service is examining video and audio tapes to try to identify the person who said, "Kill him!"

It astounds me that there are people who still can't see the obvious in Palin.

The problem is far deeper than you think. We are headed to a Christian fascist theocracy if we are not careful:

I've heard this story of someone shouting "kill him!"

I'd like to see that video before I really, truly believe this story as fact.

Anyone know of a location of a video of this rally? Thanks.

I think at this point it's a long shot if McCain even wins the election. I can understand these republicans frustrations. They initially supported a person who represented their party and unfortunately, can't provide specifics on what exactly he plans to do if he is elected. I admit, he has given a bunch of generalized ideas, but if any republicans have been watching the debates, they are certainly reassured that McCain really is quite out of touch with the 21st Century economy. Their loyalty has turned into bitterness and they don't want to seem like they made a bad decision in which candidate to support. I'll be honest though, If McCain was Democratic and Obama was Republican, I would most likely still vote for Obama.

I recall a quote from Oliver Stone's movie 'Nixon' :

Nixon shuffles back alone, coming to a stop in front of a larger-than-life, full-length oil portrait of JOHN F. KENNEDY. Nixon studies the portrait, pads closer. Looks up.

Regarding the televised McCain rallies
If I were a Republican I would be ashamed.
If I were a Conservative I would be ashamed.
If I were a Patriot I would be ashamed.
If I were a racist I'd be cheering.

Thanks for posting the link to that video, darkduskx.

Yesterday there was a TV MSNBC news report about this, at:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWpbNQFUACc

You hear about someone saying "bomb Obama," there are interviews with Republican supporters saying 'nasty things,' -- Obama's response to this,

AND

The two (2) recent events yesterday where Mccain DEFENDED Obama as a decent man, family man, citizen (And his own crowd of supporters booed him!)

McCain did this...because I believe he was shocked and didn't want to see such violent Republican hatred go on and on unchallenged -- so he challenge it himself.

Pretty astounding -- a candidate for President in a tough election -- saying hi...
