They're good for nothing. They can't even pass the
troop funding bill or the 2008 budget bill.

The proper members of Congress were *briefed* and they did not object during the time...the time was soon after Sept. 11 and wisdom required action. Now, waterboarding has become the next big topic to beat the Administration/military over the head with, so here we go.

I believe the members were briefed, were uncertain how to respond at the time, and supported whatever methods were necessary. Now, they have determined that it can be used as a political weapon and this is exactly what is going on. Everything, everything is viewed as an object of political advantage; and this is where it becomes evil.
