This is sad to see. How can we call ourselves the 'Land of the Free'? When we continue to allow the Religious Reich to discriminate against our fellow human beings, in the name of religion?

The people have spoken.

The people have no say. That's abrogating the role of the courts. Minority rights should never be up to majority vote; the concept is very seriously flawed.

As it is, there are a number of lawsuits filed to have the proposition striken, and a number of them look to have a good chance, so in the end, it'll likely be little more than a last roar of the dying Intolerance Beast.

Good thing Americans were not allowed to vote on whether minorities got the vote. Whew, where would be today?
