More good news for equality

This is excellent news. Once again, Canada shows just how progressive and fair a country it is. While our southern neighbour (of which I am a citizen) is still arguing over whether homosexuals are actually human beings who are entitled to the same rights as "normal" people, Canada is busy making sure that all people are treated equally and with dignity. It is not a perfect country by any means, but it sure has a better social record than its my homeland does.

The procreation of the human race is accomplished by a opposite sex, not same sex. It is a aberrant concept to rationalize that a same sex relationship can provide a human child with the same mental and spiritual support that opposite sex is genetically predisposed to accomplish. This does not endorse the failure of opposite sex to properly teach and nurture the child.
