The soldier the ceremony is honoring threw himself on a grenade to save his fellow soldiers. A true hero.

The Prez is probably wishing that HE had thrown himself on a grenade.

Maybe it's just me, but all I see is guilt.

I watched the entire ceremony. Glad I did. And I cried too.

There was no bitterness from the mother who stood beside him. (only here) He held her hand as they read the citation and there wasn't a dry eye in the place.

How heartwarming.

This is the first hint of humanity I've seen in this man. Shocking. And touching. Even if it's just guilt.
