Springsteen can do no harm! Slice him, dice him, chop him, slop him over a hot dog and he'll still come out with a smile and a new song. The guy writes great songs, sings wonderfully, has a great band, and from what I can tell... he's a helluva nice guy. How often is he presented in the press in a bad way? The guys been a rocker for over 30 years and I can't think of any bad press on him. Short of a few political issues he felt strongly about. Now he wants to spread a little down home spirituality. I say let him do it. "Mary Dontcha Weep" is such a wonderful song and I'm not a religous guy. Spiritual though.
