Pursuing it chosen marketing strategy, Nokia decided to back up their positions by issuing an analogous phone with quite a different design, namely Nokia 6500 Slide – the case is remarkable for the first ever use of the same index for two products with different names while earlier Nokia remakes only used indices of older models (like 6110, 3110 and so on).
