Both shoes were thrown from I understand now. He wasn't hit, I fixed the title. Hitting someone with a shoe in the middle east is considered an insult of the worst kind. Remember everyone hitting Saddam's stature head with their shoes? Today protests ensued where they threw shoes at effigies of President Bush. Reminds me of a Monty python seen.
