They gave Gaza over to the Palestinians who elected Hamas as their leaders. If Hamas has been lobbing bombs and sending suicide bombers into the country of Israel, they either started a war or they are terrorists.

Think of it this way: If Mexico claimed that we stole Texas from them (and technically we practically did) and started bombing Texas, what would our response be? Put it into terms of our own backyard and our own history. How should it be handled? Who would be the terrorists? Who would be the racists denying the humanity of whom?

Yes - cause and effect: but what if you supported Israel instead of Hamas? Pretend you're back in debate club: look at both sides and see if you can argue the other position. It may open your mind.

Palestinians had only two choices, Fatah and Hamas, just like in the U.S. there are only two viable parties, Republican and Democratic. After years of Fathah, a majority of Palestinians, Muslim and Christian, decided to try Hamas on for size hoping that, to paraphrase Sheryl Crow, a change would do them good. But they never got to find out because of infighting spurred on by the West and Israel which began starving the Palestinians by withholding $562 million owed, as part of a financial boycott organized by the Bush Administration. Perhaps Hamas would have made better rockets, but they would have never been able to match the precision and deadliness of the Military Industrial Complex. But this is all what comes from following the ideas of religious men from all three faiths who have been dead for almost two thousand years.

I know a lot about Hamas, their history, charter, suicide bombings, hospitals and social programs. I don't support religious extremism, but they have done some good things in Palestine which I will not deny. Hamas can be a monster, but so can the West and Israel with their racist and religious based polices backed by white phosphorus rockets. If the United States could negotiate with the IRA, a terrorist organization, then the same can be done with Hamas.
