Now people are learning what is going on in real life, beyond their front door, They are interested in the ways other people live , and how the differences and the similarities relate to our own. We can see conditions on the ground first hand, as opposed to the third person view of the politicians. The internet is giving us a clearer idea what it it is to be a normal Human Being, whatever the culture. All our faults and virtues can be on display to each other with no political rhetoric. We can find ways faults have been overcome, and virtues fostered.
The Human race has developed through history socially due to a process of trial and error.The report that it is political process, is patently untrue, but the impact of a single vote has been deemed responsible.
Individuality,can be political way of describing social, and personal isolation. Now we can expand and monitor the trials.One way I can imagine describing the situation is the way the advent of the net has made politics grow beyond politicians. The way their claim of social conscience, has been cursed by impotence, is being replaced by people using politics as a tool, not a weapon. Politics' primary contradiction, is it's confrontational nature. Half the people are perpetually unhappy. We need to rebuild from the ground up, with a common goal.
We should not confuse objectivity with distance.
