Just what I was looking for! I could use this too. Thanks. Following up: I registered at Box.net and am impressed. Files and Folders! oh my. Tags too. Can also view your uploads in list format or icon format. So far so good. Thanks again G. Indeed, I'm using it too, and it's very cleverly done. I like it. And the best part is that is can be added and integrated to the http://www.netvibes.com/ homepage manager (don't know if you know that one, it replaced my usual Yahoo portal / homepage / RSS reader, very nice) Ah, it's excellent. Ta. Thanx for the link! I'll bookmark it for viewing later. I have to clean out my Hard drive anyway. Its been 3 months and I have 63 gb filled already. I love the interface, too, but you'll have to pay to upload files bigger than 10MB. FYI. I don't pay for anything on-line. My personal info doesn't go into my computer. I've been burnt before. It only took once to learn. If I pay for anything online it's by anonymous credit and gift cards. 10 MB is cool for archiving. Everything doesnt need to be put into online storage. Thats why I burn to disk. you're a good source for net freebees... thankyou And Mediamax also gives me tags, folders, albums, player online and much more. Thanks Box.net, but there are much better alternatives. ...But they are not integrated to www.netvibes.com Thanks Guillaume. Your NetVibes is excellent linkage. Signing up now. I Iove it. I gave up my Yahoo homepage for it, and I was using it since 1996! thanks a lot Guillaume. i have been NetVibes for about a month now. didnt realize box.net is integrated. i'll sign up now. It's because they added it three days ago You can also check preview.netvibes.com, it's a copy of netvibes with forthcoming "beta" new features, which will be on the www version weeks later. Yes, I only just dicovered netvibes myself from this clip - it's excellent. I can't wait for the multiple pages version. Should be done soon according to their blog. |
