blueridge says: good article exposing how propaganda rules the truth about Israel. Thanks, blueridge. Great website. I know I was disgusted when the thousands of people in Gaza broke out of the blockade and embargo in a desperate search for food and basics of survival and a spokesperson for Israel said: #1> They're 'faking,' their needs to get world sympathy. #2> We better watch out because they'll be sneaking in guns. We hear this #1 and #2 on our news while it is obvious over a million people are being starved to death in front of our eyes. But, like this artidle, the lid is being lifted off these war crimes and we are seeing the snake pit below. The persecuted become the persecutors, common story in history. Hurt people hurt people. Excellent clip! This week several things are clearer (to me, at least) 1. The blockade of the Gaza Strip is collective punishment (a war crime) 2. A blockade is an act of war 3. The starving of over a million people to death in the Gaza Strip is an act of genocide. Dumb_allen – you're providing a perfect example of the maxim that "Ironically, spelling flames nearly always contain spelling errors": Why not let people other side of picture You left out "see the" between "people" and "other". You also left out "the" between "of" and "picture". You are free to jump to any conclusion you seem right. I think you mean "deem", not "seem". In war everybody is loser - you might want to give it some thought. You left out "a" before "loser". You should use an en-dash or em-dash, not a hyphen. In "give it some thought", the referent for "it" is unclear. [i]To sum it - I... Erf! That was meant for the other comment I was looking at. Sorry 'bout that... Amen, citizen. And it's not because it's Israel - we'd oppose this behavior no matter who did it. The fact that Israel does it with American military equipment is especially galling, though. I don't think supporting the current policies and actions of Israel is in any way helpful for our own real national interest. All the USA's goodwill, good cast, and good energies are going down the toilet and we get nothing for it. Unless, of course, it's our national interest to suck up and steal all the Oil in the world. But I deeply honestly believe we'd be much, much better off declaring a "war," for solar and alternative renewable energies. I'm glad to know that this is one of the programs Obama is sincerely committed to (if Bush doesn't cripple this by stealling all the money possible before he leaves office) Maybe we don't see all the solutions today but like in WW2 after 4 years... |
