...The United States reported in January that it had 1,198 delivery vehicles, and the Arms Control Association estimates that it deploys 2,200 warheads. Russia reported 816 delivery vehicles, and the association estimates that it deploys 2,000 to 3,000 warheads.

Folks who enjoy a stroll down memory lane will recall that the B2 bomber flew missions in Bosnia out of Missouri.

Presumably, if we currently have 1,198 delivery systems now and the agreed new cap is 1,100, it is not that big a deal. Cutting down to the proposed lower limit of 500 sounds preposterous.
