That puts the Kybosh on the future of the earth - hundreds of millions of Chinese and Indians taking to the air. My question is who gave humans the right to fly and to destroy the earth? Surely no God would grant such a right. Ergo, for those who believe in a God, don't fly. Somebody has to take the lead, here.

I don't actually believe in any monotheism. For me, all nature is sacred from rocks and bacteria to tigers and humans. I fear monotheism often separates humans from nature which is a tragedy in the full Greek meaning of the word. Also tragically, science also separates man from creation.

Personally, I stopped flying 10 years ago.
