This is a web-based, humanized voice messaging service. I don't really know exactly how else to describe it. I'm on a panel for this company to help them with development and thought this could be used for communicating via voice between some CM users for both private and public voice messages as a side service to use with Clipmarks. They call communication 'yacking' and a group of people is a 'pack', thus the name of the service 'YackPack'. If interested to participate - jot me an e-mail with your name and e-mail and I'll add you to Clipmarks Pack and send you an official invite with details. Then - yack away

Once you sign up (it's FREE) - you can then set up your own packs for whatever purpose you'd like (communicate with family, friends etc.)

This looks pretty interesting.

The guy behind this company is a Stanford Professor, whose specialty was/is in computer/human interfaces. He even has a book on the subject.

I've used YackPack quite a bit in the past few months and it's a pretty
decent app... I'd change a few things but it does the job.

thanks Sage. after wrapping up some things we're working on we'll take a look at YackPack. broadening the methods of communication between people on the site is definitely a priority for us.
