What's wrong with people? That is unconscionable. If they photographed it first, they knew this bird was rare and close to extinction. Horrible. It seems the farther East we go the stranger the appetite. These culture relish the idea of the rarity of the item. It makes even more thrilling to eat. However since it was photographed it seems to me that maybe they should have waited for a higher bidder than a poultry farm! It does seem a bit ignorant, but when you are at a more basic level of survival, it doesn't seem to matter much about the aesthetics of the whole thing, just the amount of money one may get immediately for necessities so disparately needed. The big blame goes onto the bastard that ate it; because everyone knows how little sustenance there is in a tiny quail ! Quite so, dmoonme1 OMG |
