a famous Agatha Christie story used this idea 70 years ago...the villain, a dentist, inserted poison in the dental office, as part of a temp care scenario.....the drug slowly melted and released...the victim died...

So it is nice to see something much more creative come of this......it is not that people CANNOT manage meds, but that some meds take a careful timing and steady measure and would be a full time job to keep up with.....inserting time release meds allows a patient to HAVE A LIFE, and not be a full time patient by profession.
