Kore7 says: That brings the total to 50 Democrat seats in the Senate, 49 Republicans. It Virginia goes Democrat also, that would bring the ratio to 51-49 and the sweep of Congress would be complete. (Democrat Webb has already declared victory there, and even with a recount, it seems highly unlikely the numbers would change enough to matter.) wow, I mean WOW. Time to break out the champagne I am a little worried about Lieberman though. What is to stop him from caucusing with the Republicans? I did a Presentation on Montana Senate Race (last week). I just can't believe I was off by 0.1 % in the Prediction Section. I suppose, recounts would be likely both at Virginia and Montana. And I agree with Josh about Lieberman. I too have doubts about Lieberman. He says that he intends to caucus with the dems ....... BUT I heard him say today that he intends to pick and choose in accordance with his positions on an individual basis; sometimes with the Dems, others the Reps. |
