thisnamecantbetaken says: Heaven just would not fit the definition of heaven if my dearly beloved departed pets were not there to greet me one day if and when I ever get there myself. If animals don't go to heaven, then you may just as well send me to hell, so I at least can party on with all my friends. *LOL* A man brings food to a dog and the dog thinks: "He must be a God!" A man brings food to a cat and the cat thinks: "I must be a God!" I easily believe animals have souls TN, and I expect to see again the animals I once loved. Animals are capable of love and God is love When I get to heaven (I did not say "if") I will be surrounded by at least 50 cats and 20 dogs. Bless their perfect little souls. I have 31 cats at this time and i know they are going to heaven. Aww, alanocu I know how you feel. My old girl Althea passed away in May. She was 14 and followed me everywhere too. She was a creamblue Colourpoint Persian. (which I think is just another name for Himalayans, I think I read somewhere.) Anyway, I'm not quite over her loss even now and I just have to see her again one day. She was my all time favourite cat ever. God bless all our sweet pets. @lorigrace 31 cats! You're my kinda gal! I am a total cat addict too! I don't know if I have done this right, but I tried to upload a picture of Althea so you can see her. Here's the link...hopefully. Here's my baby: http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r150/thisnamecantbetaken/Althea-small.jpg Haha...join the club. Ever since I uploadet the pic I have been all sappy. Awww, I sure miss her. Anyway! She really didn't require much brushing. She never matted strangely enough, but she loved being brushed just for the fun of it. Other Persians I have had weren't half as easy as her to keep. Another cat of mine, Charlie (14 too) passed away January 2nd and he was such a fuss pot and hated being brushed, but HE needed it every day to keep him pretty. Now I just have short-haired cats. Since it worked fine the last upload, you just HAVE to see a pic of my little Aisha. I found her in a rubbish bin in Greece among her dead siblings and brought her back with me. She is such a darling. The p... She is actually fully grown on that pic, but her harsh childhood stunted her growth, so she is just a tiny little thing. Not even 4 lbs! Aww, this clip is turning into my family photo album. Haha, sorry 'bout that, but as a cat owner, you know how we cat folks love to brag about our kids, right? As ten years boy I imagined I had a black panther. In my fantasy he was my best friend and my support in troubles. More than 30 years later my friend and I found a tiny black kitty in swampland near our city. She was on the verge of death. Now, she is my little black panther, so passionate and tender and strong and soft and… you know. I discovered she is probably Angora cat (I didn’t even know before they exist). I am using her picture in my profile here. I strongly believe that God is present in heart of every creature in Universe. His presence and unconditional love makes any being eternal. Humans and cats and mousses… and worms and… just everything - are eternal individualized represen... Do Animals Go To Heaven? Depends on the Lord's grace only. I'm sure, my beloved kitten that died from leukosis seven years ago, is awaiting me. That's why I try to be not completely unworthy His mercy. No animals nor people go to heaven. No animals nor people go to heaven. You never know. God knows better. No animals nor people go to heaven.Right. They get elevated there. (I hope so.) About 20 yrs ago I was very ill and sought God. I was covered in His LOVE for 2 hrs. This was love so supernatural and awesome!!!. it was unlike anything on earth even the love for my own babies, hubby, pets. Within a week I was healed entirely. Later I wondered if our pets go to heaven. I realized then that God invented the emotion LOVE and it is that love connection which continues life in another dimention (out of the realm of time /space)we call heaven. So yes...I think we will see our pets that we loved. NO YES Would be boring without. The big problem I have with the whole idea of heaven isn't the people I'd like to see again but all the people I can't stand who might end up there. We shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. (1 Corinthians 15,51f.) Thus we can die confidently, Jorjor. I know that animals dream. They must have higher brain functions and memories. Heaven is a concept made by man so unless animals can understand our languages they could not possibly go to heaven. They may however go to their own version? |
