If a national ID wouldn't help - why did the attackers on 9/11 all have some kind of ID? Drivers licensesm social security cards, all kinds of identification.Why did they find it so easy to get them? If it were less easy for our enemies to move around in our own country (and in and out of it) wouldn't it be a safer arrangement? Because having dead voters and illegal immigrants in the country is more important than security. Seems to be an answer.
