Free Grace does not cancel out Free Will as some men would have us believe ...... but rather it allows us to use our Free Will more effectively.

I have long since given up trying to solve the unsolvable. I believe that Free Will and Human Responsibility go hand-in-hand and are two sides of one coin. They are His "sheep" because they hear His voice and so follow Him. Those who will not listen/follow His voice evidence that they are not His sheep.

There are verses that seem to suggest that it is completely at the discretion of the individual ('whosoever will, may come...') and equally as many verses that speak of election and chosen aspects. It's a squirrel chasing it's tail. There are many paradoxes in Scripture. We should believe and act on what we DO understand.

I agree, norfolkman, I was going to make an initial comment regarding the confusion on this point, and also pride. I decided to just let the clip stand on it's own.
