Nobody really likes Chris Mathews very much. MSNBC's ratings suck because liberals are always lying or belly aching about how unfair things are. Fox News is kickin the crap right out of all those lyin sissy Dems and libs. So what's your point again? The point being made is that the military is subservient to the citizenry and not vice versa as constitution destroying Republicans believe. George Bush - drunk and AWOL in Alabama, Cheney had more important things to do then serving, Rush Limbaugh couldn't serve because he had a boil on his ass. I don't think anybody in cable news is kickin the crap out of anything. That includes all of them. Hears a good article on trends in the audience of Cable News. The drops at Fox News were the largest of all and marked the first time the cable news leader had begun to bleed viewers.They ALL lost viewers, not just Fox News. Ther decline was not an indictment on Fox News anymore than it is an indictment on the liberal media cheering defeat. By the way, it is alot easier to lose viewers when you have the most. When you have the least like MSNBC, its an an embarrasment. MSNBC is equivalent to left-wing blogs. That's all they are. As far as Matthew's disingenuous rant about democracy goes, I start to think they should be competing with the Comedy Channel. Thanks for pointing out the obvious. That's why I said I don't think cable news is kicking the crap out of anybody. Most are losing out to the internet just like the print media is. Here is my hypothesis about Faux News. In the lead up to the ill advised invasion of Iraq Faux News pushed all the right buttons of the tough guy crowd. Two of my older brothers use to watch Faux News and now they are disgusted by its propaganda. I am proud of them. It took them a little time to realize they had been had but the finally saw the light. I think they were ahead of the curve. As the article points out MSNBC is under new guidance.
