The only problem is I live in a rural area and personally know the closest food stand owner. Trust me, you do not want to buy this man's food!

All joking aside, while I pick on my neighbor, the points in the article are still good. While I don't think local crops can sustain a nation like the US on their own, they are a sweet luxury (pun intended) for those who live close to the sources and can afford to pay a bit extra.
