Just five months after Jodie Foster came out and broke her silence about her lesbian status with the world, the 14-year relationship with film producer Cydney Bernard has ended.

The 45-year-old star had thanked "My beautiful Cydney, who sticks by me through all the rotten and the bliss," had revealed her domestic situation for the first time in a speech to a gathering of fellow Hollywood stars in December 2007.
