I should add that this preview seems to demonstrate that Burton's Todd IS Sondheim's Todd but translated to film rather than transfered. Let's hope he cuts the parts that should be cut for film (sorry purists) and uses those brilliant bits of music and lyric that remain to create a powerful and faithful rendition.
