Using these people's reasoning if these kids were to meet up and have sex with each other would it then be considered some form of statutory rape for both participants?

In most states, the minimum legal marriage age is below the age of consent (in New Hampshire, it can be as low as 12 for girls and 13 for boys). Also in most states, the age of consent is under 18 (the average is 16). By federal law, it's illegal to have nude and/or sexually suggestive photos of anyone under 18. This means that you can legally have sex with someone whose nude photo would be illegal to own. You can be sent to prison and be required to register as a sex offender for life for having a photo of your own spouse.

Brain fart! Can anyone make sense out of all this?

or in these kid's case - photos of themselves-
i just shake my head-in wonder-as jails set free actual sex offenders daily what point this needless litigation has served?
