$611 billion ... $611 billion .... is that even a real number? Does the USA even really have that kind of money in the federal reserves? Or is it really pretend money we don'thave because we don't value the gold reserves in the same way anyway...

It's pretend money. Totally debt that is being funded from abroad. Our grandchildren will pay for this fiasco.

In large measure it is pretend money. However the obscene profits being squirreled away in off-shore bank accounts by friends of the present regime are certainly real.
