Fingers crossed...

Well I've bored everyone else with my opinion why not you too. I think an Obama candidacy is destined to failure and that we will have another four years of the GOP, maybe the Huckster, if he is the Democratic nominee.

Why? Race issue? Inexperience? Even if whoever else is on the ticket balances things out?

I'm not saying you're wrong--we've learned the hard way that any scenario, no matter how far-fetched and inane, can play out.

I'm just curious.

For me personally, the inexperience is[/a] an issue, but minor. I think it would be wonderful for him to be president. Yes, race is the issue. I have already found the race baiting starting on clipmarks (look at di211's comment at this clip. This nation has not had [b]the conversation about race that we need to have. For me, putting another gangster into the presidency (having the GOP win) is not worth the price of that conversation (even if it were to happen with an Obama candidacy, which I doubt).

BTW, it is so weird to campaign against hope (my own included). I would so love to be wrong.
