einbar says: You're in a room with 10 other people who seem to agree on something, but you hold the opposite view. Do you say something? Or do you just go along with the others? Now we know how liberalism works. Now we know how conservatism worked. I kind of wish you hadn't told me this. I had just convinced myself it was the other way around. Now we know how peer pressure works. I agree - no really, I do! What! That kind of makes thinking like farting in a crowd..you wait to express yourself until you're alone or with friends and family. I think it takes guts to speak out against the grain. Some people don't even have the guts to speak for themselves, they have stooges do it for them. ohh that explains a lot of things..nice post!! __________________________________________ Gifts Magazine I speak out and have been severely tongue lashed on this site. Three people have blocked me out of their comment section for disagreeing, but I am not complaining. Some people would just rather have the "yes" crowd follow them around and agree with them. We can all stay ignorant that way. I've been blocked for sticking up for myself and friends and I've been blocked because I had a different opinion. I will continue to do all of the above if I choose. Free thinkers tend to speak out Tany. I absolutely agree with your comment. Free thinkers tend to speak out. Fair thinkers tend to let others speak out too. Democracy But some free thinkers and fair thinkers don't like anyone speaking out against their opinions, so they block them out. I guess that makes them more free to think?? jay8h, I blocked you because you can't seem to state your case without insulting others. I talked to you about it and even gave you a second chance. When I give someone a second chance and they still blow it, I have to conclude that despite what they may say, their big thrill is in blowing it. That's their payoff. In your particular case, you probably tell your fellow haters how "mistreated" you are, but you fail to tell them how you asked for it. Chestnut501, if I have insulted you or anyone else on this site, I apologize. I am not a mean spirited person but I am striving to get my point across. The problem I am having is as a Christian conservative I find myself diametrically in opposition to many on this site. Like Debby said "I speak out against the grain". When people block me out, I take it that they don't want to hear the opposition. I do not think that is beneficial to any of us. I will be very careful not to insult anyone if I can help it, but I must speak my heart. Thanks for the message. Raven23, That's so true. And it makes me think that maybe, just maybe, there is something here that the Lord wants to show Jayh8 while he is getting his point across to us. Jay8h, I find your comment to chestnut501 to be very touching and heartfelt and I do hope that he will take the block away. You do seem to be alone here but remember that when you walk with God you are never alone. Communication means listening as well as you are talking and it is very good to let people know that you hear what they are saying. This does not mean that you must have to agree with them. If chestnut105 will not let you back, maybe you can go on clip-on-tie's clips. I know he is conservative. He is a good guy too. I dont make many clips but you are welcome on my clips when I have them. I think maybe there is something here that's good for everyone. @Chestnut: May I ask why you have Tany blocked? I think you asked us to support you on your gay clips and from what I read in her comments she feels like she would like to comment on some of those clips and feels it is only fair that a show of support would be being able to comment on the POPPED clips also. I feel she had a good point. done |
