Shocking but not the most shocking. More shocking is that their commander-in-chip is a coward and deserter. He was AWOL more than 30 days during war. Ironic that the warmonger president, never served but killed more Americans than any other since Vietnam.

What a pity the sociopathic Bush cannot look at these photos and cry. The man obviously has no connection to human emotions. I really and truly use the term sociopath to describe him because all of his behaviour as it pertains to this war points clearly in that direction. I cringe when I watch him speaking on television about war, death and destruction while at the same time he has the hint of a sneer or smile on his lips. This man is sicker than so many Americans choose to believe.

Yes, I would not want him at my son or daughter's funeral. Maybe that is why he decides to stay away. Cindy Sheehan commented on what a 'cold fish' he was when he found the time from his golf to meet the families in the White House.

I agree Zasel BUT:
I would give him a provisional diagnosis of Bi-polar disorder manic with psychotic features, Delusional Identity disorder, and suffering from alcohol or unknown substance induced psychosis.
He does present a danger to self & others & property which means he meets the criteria for involuntary commitment.

I am perfectly willing to go with your diagnosis, kkcapricorn. Shall we call the little men in their white coats?

Oh, how I wish this really was funny. The tragedy of all this is that these views are not really made from political bias, but from actual behavioural observations. I wonder if it has truly occurred to members of congress that this man might just be certifiable.

Maybe he is just preparing his defence for a court appearance if ever he decides not to be president. You know, unfit to plead! He might just swap names from president to emperor?

Just hope he doesn't get evaluated by the VA. health care system. They will think hes fine, but give him some pills to make him even worse. Hes sick enough without the pills.

I wonder if they hold grudges against bush?
Doubtful that they do. The few RARE occasions I have seen Bush on t.v. shaking "hands" with wounded combat Soldiers, they seemed gratedful and honored for the visit. (Excuse me, I had to swallow a little vomit).

My husband was in the Army for eight years and served in combat with only minimal injury. The injury he lives daily reamins in his head...and he does NOT like to talk about it...and he refuses to vote from now on.

What you see on t.v. is not always reality. Our Troops "appear" well armed and well supplied...and they ARE NOT.

onlinedesign, not everyone is fooled by the images shown on TV and other media. You are so very right in saying that many apparently healthy, and uninjured of our soldiers return with a "hidden" injury in their heads. They are haunted by the images they saw in Iraq, and by the way our government has mishandled everything about this murderous exercise right from day one. I am so sorry for your husband's difficulties. He is a true hero and I pray you and he will find the strength and wherewithal to overcome whatever problems that currently plague him.

The BOSS: Mrs. McGrath - Anti-War song

.........
....

Up came Ted without any legs

And in their place, two wooden pegs,

She kissed him a dozen times or two

And said "My god, Ted is it you"

"Now were you drunk or were you blind

When you left your two fine legs behind

Or was it walking upon the sea

That wore your two fine legs away?"
