This is the front page of a direct mailing flyer sent out to Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick's contituents in Philly. It says:
"America needs a new plan for success in Iraq."
...
Congressman Fitzpatrick says NO to both extremes:

"NO TO PRESIDENT BUSH'S 'STAY THE COURSE' STRATEGY....

"AND NO TO [Democratic challenger] PATRICK MURPHY'S 'CUT AND RUN' APPROACH."
How many more Republicans will dare to break ranks with Bush/Cheney in the lead up to elections?

Real question is what does this guy want to do. We either stay or we leave. He is giving no solution, just being agnostic to both issues.

RM, I agree. But I'm not really sure a more elaborate stance towards Iraq will go over well with the voting public. (E.g., look how complicated the discussion gets when foreign policy experts discuss what to do in Iraq now.)

In the Bush age of "you're either with us or against us", the fact that Republicans dare to defy his policy in public at all is remarkable.
