Hmmm,

it may sound weird, but you never know, many of the things we know and use today have come about from such bizarre ideas.

If we had abandoned all research that we considered a little strange then we would today be without many things that today we take for granted, look at the research for medicines for a good example of what we may consider to be ludicrous places to be looking for what we need.

It would be counter productive for us to let our personal views on any particular subject to dictate whether to research it or not.

That line between genius and madness is so very thin. If it works out: Genius! If not...
