So do I Zizzy.

But we call them lightening bugs here.

Some predator species have the ability to imitate the flash patterns of several species. They signal the males, who swoop in looking for a little six-legged nookie and end up as a snack.

I have never seen them here but there were lots around when we lived in Ontario. We called them fireflies.
