Here's my idea:

Apparently our votes and our feelings are not enough. Impeaching Vice-President Cheney would be a good next step. (If we impeach Bush then Cheney would become President, so it would be best to go one step at a time.)

To stop this upcoming war. I propose: Impeach Chene now, right away. Start some criminal trials for him and his 'neo-con,' lying warmongers, ASAP. Impeach Bush next, if there is time - Also, now, right away start Recall Elections against Republican Governor possible.

Continuing action into next year, defeat every one of the 21 Republican US Senators who are up for re-election in 2008 and work for a Democrat to be the next President (whoever wins the Democratic Primary).

I would suggest we do this, we start now to encourage others to do this, that we spread the word to do this. My goal would not be just to 'defeat' the Republican Party, but to 'destroy the Republican Party.' Then maybe we'll have made the point about our strong disapproval of current White House policies and tactics; make the point now -- and make the point for our politicians in the future: "Send them a signal," as they might say.

If we want to STOP Bush we need these actions, or actions like them. (IMO) - Because seems the "Master Plan," rumbles on, despite the US votes in the last election, despite the overwhelming majority of Americans being against it, despite the loss of "blood and treasure," despite the destruction it causes.

The Pentagon Inspector General's report says Feith's office was predisposed to trying to prove a link between Saddam Hussein and al-Qaida. The intelligence community's collective judgment was that that claim was dubious, and the assertion was later discredited. Nevertheless, some administration officials, including Vice-President Dick Cheney, cited the alleged link in public statements before the war. Pre-war intelligence that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction also turned out to be wrong.

Lawrence Wilkerson was chief of staff to Colin Powell when Powell was secretary of state. He saw the 48-page analysis produced by Feith's office as he prepared Secretary Powell's critical speech to the United Nations on Iraq's supposed weapons of mass destruction and its alleged links to al-Qaida. Wilkerson says even Vice-President Dick Cheney's then-chief of staff, Lewis "Scooter" Libby, likened it to a menu. After reviewing it, Wilkerson says, his team discarded it.

"Well, it came over from the vice-president's office to the secretary [of state] to me, and I took it out to the CIA with my task force," he explained. "And we in the first day discarded it entirely because it was unsupported, unsourced, and it was clear to us that it was just a concoction of - well, Scooter Libby himself actually supposedly told the secretary that it was a Chinese menu from which you could pick and choose what you needed. Well, that's not what we needed."

However, Bush Sr. and his gang involved themselves in the same type of mass hysteria his lying son did when they coached a small girl to testify that Iraqi soldiers were taking babies out of incubators at hospitals and "left them on the cold floor to die". Just a precursor of what you would see from the son.

Everybody knew it was going to be hard? That's revisionist history if there was ever such a thing. Shock and awe? We will be greeted as liberators with roses thrown at our feet. Rumsfeld squashing any discussion of planning for after the invasion. I guess you can convince yourself of anything living in a delusional alternate universe.

The Democrats won power in Congress because Bush is a dead albatross hanging around the neck of the Republican party. That's what happens when you lie to get us into a war and the citizenry slowly catches on.
