She should take over Rice's job for sure. On the one hand, Hillary was Obama's best choice for winning. On the other hand, if he were to win, he definitely wouldn't want the Bill and Hillary show overshadowing his presidency. Be interesting to see who he picks. Who could he pick that would please the disgruntled Hillary supporters? I'm not sure anyone would please the truly hardcore disgruntled. But there are those middle of the road disgruntled supporters who would vote for Obama with Hillary on the ticket, but without her might go for McCain (especially if he puts a woman on the ticket). Not sure who the dems have who might sway at least some of those voters to support Obama instead. From the polls this election looks to be another close one, so the choice for VP could very well be the deciding factor. True. Who do you feel would be Obama's best and worst choices? I'm not really up on all the democrat possibilities. Heck, I'm not up on all the republican names that have been thrown around. Of the ones I know, I think Richardson might not be a bad pick. I don't know of any scandals involving him. He might not help with the women voters so much, but he could help with the Hispanic vote. He seems to be a likable guy and he has executive experience. While McCain is looking for someone young and fresh, Obama probably wants someone with more experience, and executive experience is good. I'd say Edwards would be a bad pick now due to the love child scandal. Real or not, it just isn't something you want to deal with during an election. But like I said, I'm... |
