Telling the story of what happened to the Vietnamese when we withdraw. Which is why people are asking today, 'what is going to happen to the Iraqis when we leave?'

We can learn a lot from what happened in Vietnam but I don't see a point in pursing these sorts of analogies because I don't think the situations are comparable. What I do see in common is that the United States was humiliated in Vietnam. Again, hubris receives it's traditional reward.

I wonder what Jim Webb thinks would happen if we were to do what he asks (leave Iraq)? Did he forget?
