!.. ya actulize..! es q no se bien q es esto. y no lo entiendo.! Go Thomas!!!! Following the unfortunate loss of Molly Ivins this last January, Helen Thomas is the alpha female of journalism, and she's head and shoulders above all but one or two of the whole profession. She owns the White House press room. Thomas Jefferson incarnated. @valentin qué usted no entienden Funny how the left thinks she is a journalist but thinks FOX news is too biased to host democrat debates. Where Helen Thomas no longer represent a wire/news service what has that got to do with Faux News? Last I knew O'Rielly was calling her a pin head for daring to ask such questions. The comparison has to do with what many on the left thinks is journalism. Helen Thomas is no more a reporter than Rush Limbaugh. Yet here she is getting praise for making an ass of herself. And this speaks volumes about the media as a whole that they actually picked her to have a front seat with the limited seating in the press room at the White House. In the mean time, the same people who think Thomas is a reporter believes FOX news is too biased to host democrat debates (like they could do worse than CNN or MSNBC has done so far). Is it the fact that old Helen keeps doing her job so well that bothers you so much N2? While the rest of the press corp just sits there like stenographers she actually "dares" to ask valid questions. No wonder the folks at Faux News don't like her, she does he job and it makes them look bad, like jocks hating on nerds because the nerds actually study and do well in school which is what your supposed to do anyway. Stenographers...that's a very good description of most of the press corps these days. Bush gets so many passes from the press that I have to stifle a hearty guffaw every time I hear the phrase "liberal media". Examples: Back in '93, the press was outraged that Clinton fundraising brought in $37 million in the first 18 months of his term. In that same period of his first term, Bush collected over $100 million - "Twice, Bush has shattered the single event record set by Clinton at $26.5 million in 2000. Bush raised $33 million at an event in May and $30 million in June." The press drubbed the Clintons endlessl... |
