It's incredible how the world, life and inventions are so completely chaotic.

#1 is so freakin' ironic... instead of coming up with something that could prolong life, those Chinese alchemists did exactly the opposite!

There's an interesting connection between bike rides and hallucinogens, isn't there? IIRC, this may be circumstantial, but before it was called Macintosh, Steve Jobs wanted to dub it "Bicycle", and he also allegedly quizzed new interviewees about their LSD usage so he could gauge "likemindness". There's also the Orb (famous acid house group) and their album, Bicycles & Tricycles.

Not to mention the whole theme of "going on a trip"!

I spotted the Teflon thing when it came out then.
I just threw out the last one yesterday when it was just starting to show {some} wear. I wish that one was found sooner.

I hope no-one's been wearing teflon pants
