BobbyRutan says: More: More than $300 million has been spent on 221,000 of the carbines over the past two years alone. And the Defense Department is asking Congress to provide another $230 million for 136,000 more. Lord, if republicans are going to deliver us BS wars couldn't they at least spend our taxpayer dollars on U.S. pork. Here's somemore brilliance from Oklahoma, Tom Coburn's senatorial twin Jim Inhofe, For example my area of expertise is the English language. -- Sen. James Mountain Inhofe (R - OK) If the Germans are producing better product, let's buy it and tell Colt where to stick it. I agree with this Republican. Of course it would be even better to not have to buy the damn guns to begin with. I don't disagree. I just like to get under the skin of the U.S. all the way hypocrite republicans. Plus some other facts in the story that exemplify the ridiculousness that we have reached. Half-billion dollar no bid contracts and the like. I want to puke. But apparently there is some debate. Coburn says the M4 is horrible, jams, and puts soldiers lives at risk. The pentagon says it's wonderful. So who's lying to us Coburn or the Pentagon. Hypocrite Republicans....This coming from liberals who have spent the past 5 years bitching about how the US GOvernment is not giving our soldiers the best possible equipment. So silly, answer the question. Who's the liar - the Pentagon or Tom Coburn? Looks like to me your saying that the Pentagon are some lying sacks. Am I correct? And yes Bush & Co. sent our troops of with less than optimal gear. That is a fact. Just ask any soldier who had to buy his own body armor. Thank you Donald Rumsfeld. |
