I can only add my thank God to that of countless others. The hospital is apparently not going to release the octuplets to their mother until or unless she proves that she can take care of them.

I wasn't aware that a hospital had that right, and I'm not sure they should. A new mother could have a beautiful home, a husband, and an enviable bank account and still be an awful mother. How is the hospital to judge? Seems to me only poor women would be affected.

Actually it"s her mother's home they'll be going to and she has stated publicly that she thought her daughter shouldn't have had that many and that she is tired of raising her daughter's children because she's ready for a life of her own.
