This is so cool. I lit a candle for my beloved Friend, Diane Marriot Mistrot, who died on my Birthday 5 years ago. It will stay lit for 48 hours. I promised her I would always love her and evoke her name often "if" she passed before me....(she promised if she did, she would come back and haunt me - a joke we had, that is no longer so funny.)
I miss her so much. She was more than a Friend to me - she was like my Mother. I will always love her.
Perhaps you, too, would like to remember someone is this nice way. Evoke their name. When I logged on,there were over 12,000 candles buring for people all over the World!

I just lost a friend at work. We just lit a candle for his family. Funny how doing something that is not even "real", like lighting a virtual candle, makes your heart feel good to remember that person. They would have wanted you to do that. Remember.
