it looks younger .... With all its pock marks, it looks older. Each one represents something slammed into it from space. We're like...dodging bullets out here. Great article. Celestial Acne The other night on BBC there was an (new?) explanation of life on earth. It was all about one unique event on one unique day. The twin earths crashed into each other!! A large chunk of one was incorporated into the other. In time the debris became our moon. The size that earth now became was critical. Next was its iron core that protected our atmosphere from very harmful rays from the sun.Third was the size of the moon and distance which prevented our climate from passing from very cold to very hot. So the moons composition should be very close the earth and much the same in age.
