Graphic proof: Democratic admins usually bring growth in jobs, GDP, and stock values; Repub admins bring deficits, greater gap between rich and poor. If blue-collar Americans ever understand this, it'll be mighty bad news for Republicans.

Where to begin?
A vast majority of economists since Hayek recognize the failure of socialistic economics and there is a general consensus about this. These numbers make use of an interesting thing in economics and that thing is time-value. In this post it is used to gain an edge in the assumption of ignorance in the reader. As the source correctly points out,
" Republican administrations tend to have recessions early in their terms, with growth strongest in the fourth year and Democrats tend to stimulate the economy on taking office ( this is impossible)" This is what
economists refer to as "lag time". The point being that policies of an administration are not immediate.

If it is true tha...

The REAL Napster
As above but with fewer words.

Firstly, the article (and graphs?) are from the Huff -n-Puff post. Not an authority on economics by any measure.
Secondly, graphs usually have references listed. Where are the verifiable sources for the graphs?
Without those its just another picture.

Your post also ignores policy as an affect on economy and only applies party affiliation. This creates a problem because within the understanding of economic principals JF Kennedy operated under the traditionally conservative template. If you look at policy you will see there are similarities in the economic agendas of Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter and the first Bush. On the other end there are similarities between Reagan, Kennedy, Clinton, and the Second Bush.

Here is a good source for economic information.

I think a little more reliable than Huffpo.

@ REAL: These charts are not from Huffpo, but (as cited in the article) reported in a Huffpo story quoting data from the Liscio Economic Report Blog.

This being Clipmarks, when you want to verify the source, you click the link - and THEN if there's no source, you've got a legitimate complaint.

@ ken:

This clip is about the difference between Republicans and Democrats, both of which are far from "socialistic." Likewise, that "there is a general consensus about this" - if we're referring to policies of Democrats - is such a broad assumption as to be highly unlikely, except in circles so small as to not be fairly called "general." These issues are neither easy nor clear, and many voices cheer for many different courses.

Oh. Then excuse me. I was confused by the word f-a-c-t in the title. There is no fact in the story relating to the differences in republicans and democrats. If you are cheering then you should have called it cheering. It is not very helpful to the facts when we have such a large amount of misinformation presented as "fact". It is even worse when the misinformation is obsequious lying used to lead a cheer.

My comments were in response to the source. Not Huffpo.

The REAL Napster, the source may have not been Huffpo but they are presented at Huffpo for a reason.

The magnitude of that spin may cause UFO sightings.

There is no lying here. There is a set of data that is, like all such, limited in scope and not the last word. There is a reprint in Huffpo because, like all blogs, Huffpo prints things it finds that its readers will like.

Gracious, you'd think we were beating puppies.

But there is a last word. I gave you a link to the last word. The economy is never better for the US, Europe, China, Cuba or any nation in the world that leans toward or applies socialist principles.

There is a reprint in Huffpo because, like all blogs, Huffpo prints things it finds that its readers will like.

Gracious, you'd think we were beating puppies.
I'm just disgusted by liars. When you repeat lies after being given proof to the contrary you are no better than those telling them.
