A new planet which almost resembles the earth was discovered by a team of astronomers from the European Southern Observatory in Chile. This new planet which is 20.5 lights years away is believed to have and atmosphere similar to ours. This earth’s twin revolves around the star Giliese 581, a red dwarf in the Libra constellation Which almost half the size of our sun.Temperature on this planet is expected to be 0 to 40 degrees Celsius, which is ideal for the formation of oceans and life.The geographical qualities of this planet may be similar to those of the earth with oceans and rocks.
