Straight from John Kerry's own website. Seems it doesn't matter how the 'joke' was supposed to be worded, Kerry thinks it was right either way. In other words, he stands behind exactly what he said. Anyone still believe his apology was sincere?

Hopefully now he'll call it quits & we'll not have to hear from him for 2008 race. Funny thing is he really isn't that arrogant or condescending in person, but he sure does dip his foot in it, but then so does Hilary. I'm still hoping & praying the country will have better candidates in the next election.

I actually hope Kerry doesn't call it quits, he is one of the best things to ever happen to the GOP.
