Allison Van Dusen says: This is how you know the country is really facing a health-care crisis. A Kaiser Family Foundation survey is showing that 7% of Americans have themselves or know someone who has gotten married in the last year to get health insurance. I know that health insurance obviously can play a big role in whether people leave or keep their jobs but I had no idea that benefits were affecting major life decisions, like when to get married. Hopefully these insurance carriers also cover the cost of marital counseling. |
