Some great progressive ideas here

While all worthy ideals, we will see if the establishment (ie the money) will allow them to happen.

The Higher Education for all scares me. That means that a Bachelor degree will be worth no more than a high school diploma or AS degree is now (nothing).

Our education system is a dismal failure. We spend more per ca pita, it is available to all, yet our kids (and adults) consistently rate in the bottom of the industrialized world. Heck, we rank lower than many in the "third world".

Pouring more money into a black hole fixes nothing and cheapens the experience to boot.

I think that attempting to provide higher education for more people is not going to be a problem because the individual still has to put forth the effort to get the higher education. Just because the opportunity is there does not mean that everyone will take it. Nearly all "underprivileged" kids have access to what amounts to a nearly free ride via grants and scholarships if they were to put forth the effort to attain them. But they don't now and they wont if more $ is available. So fear not, there will always be someone to serve you at McDonald's and to mow your lawn.
