Kerik charged with corruption almost became Homeland Security director thru Giuliani's recommendation. Just another one of "Godfather" Giuliani's friends like the pedophile priest earlier. He appears to have a close knit "gang" in New York, secretive and corrupt. Kerik is also his business partner. There is also another thread here, all seem to hold the principles of another infamous Roman Catholic leader, Mussolini, and those principles are called "fascism". Giuliani hollers that he prosecuted the Mafia. Yet NYC has a reputation like Chicago, for Mafia having influence over politicians and hiding under the skirts of the Catholic Church and priests. None of them are poor either. If you also saw the television interview of Rudolph's response he says it just shows the "complexity of human nature"--i.e. Kerik is "not that bad" and will be his friend still. This is integrity of a man seeking public trust?
McCain is right about his judgment, and was bold enough to say so.
