exposed to improper and offensive material relative to unhealthy and high-risk homosexual behavior
That's probably exactly why they wanted to keep it from their parents. that's about the most ignorant statement I've read in a while.

Homosexuality is NOT improper, offensive or unhealthy.. no more than heterosexuality.. but this idiot probably thinks sex in general is wrong... go ignorance!

Trying to keep it from the parents is wrong.. but I can certainly (via that statement and others) see why they did it. If they had of told the parents, the parents like this one would have pull their kids form the program.

I think it is "ignorant" to think that there is ANY reason for the school to justify lying to the parent. THAT is "ignorant". There is still a vast number of people who believe that homosexuality is improper and offensive. Most are not "ignorant", believe me, they completely understand.

The school can have the class if they want, but the parent should be able to decide if they want their child to attend the class or even attend the school. If the class was legit the school would not have to worry about what the parents thought. When you have to lie about something, that "something" is usually wrong too.

I find this story hard to believe. I think it is more likely that students were taking some kind of sex ed class and they pledged not to disclose what other students said in the class.

I didn't justify it.. i simply said, I could see why they might want to do it. In fact I said it was wrong.

I guess that's your point of view. I think they are ignorant.

They are many things going on at schools...Something like that happened a few weeks about a group of students and a teacher...they said a couple of students around 16 have sex in the classroom...with the teacher's in front...it happened last year and they told about it when they go back to school...None of the students told their parents...why?...Now the school is investigating this case...
